The Play When Women Had Wings at the Montenegrin National Theatre

“When women had wings” will be performed at the Montenegrin National Theatre (the Scene Studio). The show is scheduled for December 9 (Friday), at 8 PM. The theme of this play is the soul of a woman and its need for freedom. The play is directed by Tamara Vujovic-Mandic, the choreographer. “When women had wings” is her first original project, produced by the Montenegrin National Theatre.

The play is actually inspired by “Women Who Run with Wolves”, the essay by Clarissa Pinkola Estes.

Julija Milacic, Bojan Knezevic and Nada Vukcevic will play in it, Jelena Milosevic is the dramatist, and Vjera Nikolica composed the music. Dusko Gogic designed the costumes.

As Jelena Milosevic said, the title “When women had wings” suggested freedom and return to nature.
