One of the most popular music stars in the ex-Yugoslav region, Severina, will be performing in Cetinje on September 3. The Croatian singer will headline the Festival Cetinje Summer of Culture. She will hit the stage at 9pm at the Dvorski Square in central Cetinje.
Severina Vučković is a Croatian pop star who rose to stardom in the 90s with pop hits such as “Djevojka sa sela”, “Ja samo pjevam” and “Ante”. She represented Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 with a song called “Moja štikla”. Her life got controversial after a private video of her and her then-boyfriend was leaked on the internet. However, she managed to get through it all and in 2008 recorded an album with Goran Bregović, a famous Bosnian musician, who helped her return to the top of the charts.
