Rambo Amadeus Will Represent Montenegro in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012

Public broadcaster RTCG announced that Rambo Amadeus would be the representative of Montenegro in the Eurovision Song Contest in Baku, 2012.

According to the official Eurovision Song Contest website, the song will be recorded in Slovenia (Ljubljana) in the Magnifico’s studio.

Rambo Amadeus (real name Antonije Pusic, born in 1963, in Kotor, Montenegro), continues to be the most interesting musician on the former Yugoslavia’s music scene. He said he had agreed to participate because he wanted to promote Montenegro as a great tourist destination.

The last representative of Montenegro (for 2009 Eurovision Contest) was Andrea Demirovic, who was eleventh in the First Semi-Final, but did not make it to the finals.
