Aleksandar Erakovic, Montenegrin Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, handed his letters of credentials to Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, in Doha. This made Erakovic the first nonresidential Montenegrin ambassador to the United Arab Emirates.
Mr. Erakovic and Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani pointed out that the relations between their countries could be greatly improved, especially when it comes to cooperation in the economics area.
According to Sheikh, Montenegro offers attractive investment opportunities and he is willing to personally contribute to more dynamic and closer relations between Qatar and Montenegro.
Aleksandar Erakovic pointed out that the legal basis of cooperation between the two countries would be established and Qatar and Montenegro would organize more high-level visits in order to regulate this issue.
