At yesterday’s meeting, ambassadors of Norway, Finland, Sweden and Denmark told PM Luksic their countries would support Montenegro’s EU bid. They also discussed economic stability, employment, financial and fiscal stability, business environment and foreign investment opportunities in Montenegro and agreed that friendly relationship and good cooperation between their countries and Montenegro was developing in all areas.
Norway will provide substantial financial support to various projects related to the rue of law and economy. Ambassador Nils Ragnar Kamsvåg confirmed this at his meeting with Justice Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Dusko Markovic.
Montenegro’s activities in implementing the European standards were also discussed at yesterday’s meeting.
Norway will financially support some ongoing projects related to mediation in both criminal and civil matters and several projects related to free legal aid. Montenegro and Norway already have good cooperation in several projects related to the rule of law.
