Montenegro and Serbia Signed Air Traffic Agreement

Andrija Lompar, Montenegrin Transportation and Maritime Affaris, and Milutin Mrkonjic, Serbian Infrastructure and Energy Minister, signed an air traffic agreement on February 3, in Belgrade.

This agreement will help establish specific forms of cooperation between Montenegrin and Serbian aviation authorities.

Mr. Lompar said that the agreement would regulate both military and civil aviation areas. It should also strengthen both countries’ positions in the Single European Sky Agreement.

Joint agency of the two countries covers nearly 55 % of BiH airspace and small percentage of Croatian airspace.

Montenegro and Serbia could admit their neighbors to the mini-block to form a bigger one.
