Montenegro and Russia Sign Judicial Cooperation Agreement

Justice Minister, Dusko Markovic, and Russian Prosecutor General, Yury Chaika, signed an agreement on international legal assistance and cooperation between the Russian Federation and Montenegro.

The agreement created a basis for an efficient communication between the Russian and Montenegrin central authorities in the field of legal assistance.

The agreement also envisages important measures and activities for fighting crime and protection of human rights, such as information exchange, consultations, enforcement and legislative activities, conferences, joint research, round tables, educations, training and seminars.

Dusko Markovic and Yury Chaika signed the agreement yesterday, as part of the 290 years jubilee of the Russian Prosecution Office.
