Montenegrin-Slovenian Business Forum is being held today in hotel Maestral in Budva. The overall plan of the Forum and the intention of both countries participants is to sign numerous agreements between them, focusing on the business sector. The Forum is being organized by Privredna Komora Crne Gore (PKCG) in cooperation with embassies of both countries. Even the Slovenian president Danilo Trk will be present.
“The Forum is an opportunity for improving the business climate in Montenegro and strengthening business relations between the two countries,” said the representative of the organizers. At the opening ceremony, Filip Vujanović, the president of Montenegro and Danilo Trk, the president of Slovenia, will hold speeches. The organizers say that there will be 110 Slovenian and 160 Montenegrin businessmen participating from various business sectors (energy, pharmacy, construction, finances, education, IT and so forth).
There will be many bilateral meetings during the day discussing investment projects, especially about infrastructure improvement. The main goal of these meetings is to introduce potential projects and law legislation of Montenegro to Slovenian investors.
It is also planned to hold a workshop devoted to writing projects in the environment sector which are specially tailored for applying for EU grants.
