Montenegrin Government Appointed New Chief of Police and Head Negotiator for EU Accession Talks

At the session held yesterday (December 29), the Montenegrin Cabinet appointed Bozidar Vuksanovic as the new chief of police, and Aleksandar Pejovic as the Chief Negotiator for EU accession talks.

The Government also discussed several measures that would be taken in order to improve the economic growth in the next year, health care system and public administration. 2011 was a very successful year for Montenegro, but there is still a lot of work to be done.

The Government has also defined its priorities: boosting the economy, increasing employment and general economic growth. The public administration has been restructured, in order to reduce the costs and improve efficiency.

The new health insurance draft law introduces several new measures for providing additional (voluntary) health insurance, which will provide more security to health care beneficiaries.
