A popular Croatian pianist Marija Grazio will be performing at the grand hall of KIC “Budo Tomović” in Podgorica on September 13. The concert starts at 8pm.
This performance will be a celebration as well — Marija will celebrate three decades of performing to audiences in the ex-Yugoslav region. She will perform sonatas written by Domenico Scarlatti, Franz Liszt and Sergei Prokofiev.
Marija Grazio has a very strong education background — she attended classes held by famous professors like Vladimir Krpan (from Zagreb, Croatia), Marjan Mika (Poland), Konstantin Boginoa and Slavo Gabrielov (Russia) and thus gained skills to play various styles. She graduated in 1987 in the class of Dušan Trbojević at the Music Academy in Podgorica. Ever since she’s been working as a professor at the “Luka Sorkočević” Art School in Dubrovnik. She got her MBA and PhD in Ljubljana, Slovenia at their Music Academy in 2004 in the class of Dubravka Tomšić.
