The Montenegrin government is in the process of selling and leasing many military facilities across the country. As we reported yesterday, a military facility in Kumbor is up for lease. Another, more exotic object is up for lease as well — a facility on the island of Lastavica called Mamula. Mamula is actually an old fortress. The Ministry for privatization and capital projects announced that they are open to any offers until December 14. The lease duration is 30 years, although it can be extended to 90 years.
Just like in any deal of this size, only companies and consortiums with proven records of successful finance history are allowed to apply.
