According to the Tourist Organization of Budva (TOB), the Budva Riviera (a long strip of the Adriatic coast surrounding the town of Budva in western Montenegro) is having a very successful September — there are currently 23,190 guests spread across various towns. That number is a 5% increase compared to the same period last year. From the total number of tourists, 97% of them are foreigners. TOB also reported that most of the tourists are staying in hotels (11,600), which is a 6% increase compared to the same period last year.
There are currently 1,260 tourists in Tivat (a 4% increase). They also noted that the hotel “Plavi horizonti”, which is one of the biggest in the region, has been closed for renovation, but that didn’t affect the increase. Most of the tourists in Tivat are staying in hotels, while a small number is in camps (and all of them are foreigners).
